There is a breathing technique that will help control anxiety. It is called relaxing breath, or 4-7-8 breathing technique, and consists of emptying the lungs, breathing in through the nose for 4 seconds, holding the breath for 7 seconds, and exhaling the breath through the mouth for 8 seconds. Among its benefits are reducing anxiety and controlling anger responses.
